“The answer is both yes and no.

Yes, I have been able to keep in touch with family and friends and have completed projects with teams located in cities around the world.

But while these are good points about e-mail, there are bad points too.

“We all know that e-mail is addictive.

But maybe one in 100 has something I really want to know.

“Too many e-mail messages interfere with real work.

We should become aware of the effect e-mail has on us and decide if we really want to spend so many hours on e-mail, instead of on more valuable activities.”
